Oh when testing my file I had to make sure to Save As: 3D3/DDS(*.DDS *DDS).' I'm not sure what made it work as I have tested it but it is working for me. Well I found that folder here: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2014\Required\Plug-Ins\File Formats and placed a copy of the dds64.8bi file there as well. I've followed the 3dcoat tips and tricks and the problem I had at first was trying to figure out where step #3 'Copy the dds64.8bi file from the CS6 File Formats folder into the existing Photoshop CC File Formats folder' was. The 2 folders it created are: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2014\Plug-ins\Plug-Insand C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2014\Plug-ins\Presets which both have subfolders of there own. I download the plugin from Nvidia for 64 bit systems and installed it here: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2014\Plug-ins.Īfter installing it created 2 new folders beside the one that was already there, which is empty anyway: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2014\Plug-ins\Generator. 'I've just gotten the plugin to work and wanted to share with you and anyone else that had issues with this too.
